ED Notices To Wife Baseless, Says MP Kesineni Chinni
The MP clarified that the notices were issued only to Kesineni Developers and not to any individual family member

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni.
Vijayawada: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni on Monday said reports claiming that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued notices to his wife in connection with an alleged liquor scam were baseless.
Addressing the media at his office in Guru Nanak Colony, Vijayawada, the MP clarified that the notices were issued only to Kesineni Developers and not to any individual family member.
He said company representatives would appear before ED officials on May 27 and submit explanations regarding certain business transactions for which details had been sought by the agency.
Chinni said the ED notices were related to transactions involving a company linked to Raj Kesireddy’s Ishwani firm. He said the company had business dealings worth about `35 lakh, which were limited to architectural fee payments.
He added that the firm had exited the company in 2022 after learning about Raj Kesireddy’s background and that there were no further financial transactions thereafter.
The MP clarified that his wife had earlier served only as a director in the company and had not received any individual notice from the ED.
He said claims that she had been issued ED notices in the liquor scam were false and insisted that only the company had been served notices.
Chinni alleged that the accusations were politically motivated and said he had been opposing what he termed “anti-people activities” of the YSR Congress.
