Dr NTR University Opens Applications for Nursing Entrance Test 2025
To be eligible for APNCET-2025, the candidates must have completed their 10+2 or Intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, along with English as a mandatory subject.

Vijayawada: Dr N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, has announced the opening of online applications for the Andhra Pradesh Nursing Common Entrance Test (APNCET-2025) for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) four-year degree courses across affiliated colleges in the state.
Starting at 11 am on May 28, eligible candidates can submit their applications through the university’s official website at https://drntr.uhsap.in. The application window will remain open until at 6 pm on June 20.
The university has set different fee structures based on category classifications. General category (OC) candidates must pay Rs 1,180 (including 18 per cent GST), while SC/ST/BC candidates should pay Rs 944 (including GST). All payments must be made online through debit card, credit card or net banking, with bank charges applying separately.
University officials have emphasised that application fees, once paid, would not be refunded under any circumstances.
To be eligible for APNCET-2025, the candidates must have completed their 10+2 or Intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, along with English as a mandatory subject. For the general category (OC), a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology is required and for SC/ST/BC categories, 40 per cent aggregate in the same subjects is required.
All candidates must have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2025, meaning they should have been born on or before December 31, 2008. Notably, there is no upper age limit for applicants.
The university will take admissions based on percentile rankings, which includes general category candidates need to achieve the 50th percentile, SC/ST/BC candidates and those with disabilities from these categories require the 40th percentile and general category candidates with disabilities need the 45th percentile
The university has made special provisions for candidates with disabilities, specifically those with 5 per cent locomotor disability affecting 40 per cent to 50 per cent of the lower extremity. These candidates must appear before a medical board during the counselling process and provide a valid disability certificate issued within three months of application submission.
