VIJAYAWADA: Chairman of the 20-Point Programme Implementation (Viksit Bharat – Swarna Andhra Pradesh) Lanka Dinakar on Wednesday said 2025 had laid a strong foundation for a brighter 2026, with the double-engine government delivering growth-driven governance and inclusive welfare.
Addressing a press meet at the AP Secretariat in Velagapudi in Amaravati, he extended New Year greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and the nation. At the same time, he reaffirmed AP’s commitment to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of Swarna Andhra Pradesh, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat mission.
Dinakar said investments worth ₹8.55 lakh crore had been approved in 2025 to generate 8.23 lakh jobs. Further, MoUs worth Rs 13.25 lakh crore have been signed at the CII Summit in Visakhapatnam. They are expected to create employment for 16.13 lakh youth, with special focus on North Andhra, Prakasam and Rayalaseema.

Highlighting the Super Six welfare programmes, Dinakar said Rs 6,310 crore have been transferred to 46 lakh farmers under Annadata Sukhibhava. Rs 10,090 crore have reached 67.27 lakh beneficiaries under the Talliki Vandanam. Deepam-2 has provided three free LPG cylinders to poor families, while Stree Shakti, enabling free bus travel for women, has recorded 3.25 crore journeys so far.
The 20-Point Programme Implementation chairman underlined India’s rise as the world’s fourth-largest economy. He expressed confidence that 2026 will further accelerate growth. He sought people’s support for continued success of the double-engine government.
