ANANTAPUR: As part of supporting education, child development, and environmental awareness, Discover Anantapur and the AGS Foundation on Tuesday donated a range of educational and recreational materials to the students of Rakshak Primary School in Anantapur in the presence of district SP P. Jagadeesh on Tuesday.
The donated materials included check-ruled notebooks, bird houses, computer desks, chairs, play balls, a Twister game mat, a ball maze board, and a balancing wooden board. A.G. Anil Kumar of Discover Anantapur and his mother Prameelamma formally handed over these materials to the students through the SP as part of their ongoing community welfare and child development activities.
As a special environmental initiative, wooden bird houses have been distributed to all students to encourage awareness about conservation and help increase the population of sparrows in the region. SP Jagadeesh interacted with the children and enquired about their studies.
He encouraged them to focus on their education and strive for academic excellence. He emphasised the importance of providing quality education and creating a positive learning environment for children.
Those present on the occasion included additional SP M. Nagabhushanam and DSP (Armed Reserve) Neelakantheswara Reddy.
