VIJAYAWADA: Retired IAS officer Dinesh Kumar assumed charge as chairman of the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC) at the Secretariat here on Monday.
The commission will examine salary revision for Andhra Pradesh government employees. Kumar will collect information from government departments and employee associations, conduct a detailed study and submit recommendations on salary revision to the state government within the stipulated period.
A 1983-batch IAS officer, Kumar previously served as chief secretary to the state government.
