CUTM Convocation: Graduands Told to Pursue Goals with Integrity
The university awarded 409 degrees, including six PhDs, presented 14 gold medals and eight cash prizes, and conferred honorary doctorates on Dr Sabat and Mr Naren

Visakhapatnam: Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) held its fifth convocation ceremony here on Saturday, underscoring its growing reputation for skill-based and industry-aligned higher education.
Addressing the graduating students, Dr S. N. Sabat, chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, praised the university for maintaining high standards in practical and globally relevant education. He described CUTM as a benchmark institution and urged the youth to pursue their aspirations with integrity and a strong sense of responsibility towards nation-building.
In his keynote address, Sankaran Naren, chief investment officer of ICICI Prudential AMC, reflected on the rapid technological transformations of the past three decades. He noted that emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, gene therapy and biotechnology would shape the future and advised students to stay adaptable and embrace innovation.
Chancellor Prof. G. S. N. Raju commended the founders for establishing CUTM as a centre of excellence, while Vice-Chancellor Prof. Prasanta Kumar Mohanty highlighted the university’s academic achievements and forthcoming initiatives.
