CRDA Invites Tenders for Construction of Amaravati Towers

In a major step towards the capital development project, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has invited tenders for the construction of Secretariat towers in Amaravati.

Vijayawada:In a major step towards the capital development project, the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has invited tenders for the construction of Secretariat towers in Amaravati.

This move comes in the wake of the state Cabinet’s decision to resume key capital infrastructure works, including the Legislative Assembly, High Court and Secretariat complexes.

According to official sources, tenders have been invited for the construction of five Secretariat towers at an estimated cost of ₹4,668 crore. The tenders include ₹1,897 crore for Towers 1 and 2, ₹1,664 crore for Towers 3 and 4, and an additional ₹1,126 crore for a dedicated tower to house the Heads of Department (HoD) offices.
