Corporator Tickets Only for Hardworking Party Leaders: Minister T.G. Bharath

The minister said the state would witness greater progress if the coalition government retained power for two more terms in the state. He urged party workers to remain patient and committed so that their efforts would be recognised.

Kurnool: Industries minister T.G. Bharath told the TD cadres and leaders to work hard, ensuring the party's victory in all 33 wards in the upcoming Kurnool corporation elections. He stated that the corporator tickets will be given only to those who demonstrate hard work.

Speaking at a mini Mahanadu held in Kurnool on Sunday, he highlighted the district’s rapid development under the coalition government.

The minister said the state would witness greater progress if the coalition government retained power for two more terms in the state. He urged party workers to remain patient and committed so that their efforts would be recognised.

He announced that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had sanctioned Rs 6 crore for the expansion of C. Camp Rythu Bazaar and establishment of an Anna Canteen. He also revealed plans to set up semiconductor and EV industries in Orvakal, by investing ₹1,000 crore each. Notices have been served to those who had acquired land in Orvakal but failed to set up industries, he said.

He added that an industrial zone had been planned between Anantapur and Orvakal, and assured that the work on the BC Bhavan in Kurnool, halted at the pillar stage, would resume with Rs 1 crore of funds. Kurnool Urban Development Authority chairman Somisetty Venkateswarlu, TD district general secretary Akepogu Prabhakar and several corporators participated in the programme.
