Cops Take Cleanliness Pledge, Curb Plastic Use

Visakhapatnam: The Anakapalle district police launched a "Shramdan" cleanliness drive at their headquarters, aligning with the state's "Swarnandhra - Swachh Andhra" campaign. Led by Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha and coordinated by sub-inspector T. Lakshmi, officers and staff enthusiastically cleaned the office grounds, parking areas, and record rooms. The initiative focused on promoting public hygiene and awareness, as the department believes cleanliness is fundamental to a healthy society.

In addition to the cleanup, the team installed new dustbins and encouraged citizens to reduce their use of plastic, like bags and disposable bottles, to support sustainable waste management and eco-conscious living.
