Commodore Dhody Takes Charge of INS Kalinga
His afloat appointments include service aboard INS Kirch and INS Brahmaputra
VISAKHAPATNAM: Commodore Sarvdeep Singh Dhody assumed command of INS Kalinga and took over as Station Commander, Naval Station Bheemunipatnam, from Commodore Anirudha Roy at a formal change of command ceremony at INS Kalinga on Monday.
Commissioned into the Indian Navy’s electrical branch on July 1, 1998, Commodore Dhody has held several operational, training and technical appointments during his career.
His afloat appointments include service aboard INS Kirch and INS Brahmaputra. He has also served at the Naval Dockyards in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.
Commodore Dhody has served as an instructor on four occasions, including as Training Captain at INS Valsura, Flotilla Captain at the Indian Naval Academy and Directing Staff at CDM, Secunderabad.
