VIJAYAWADA: A college bus driver lost control of the vehicle after suffering severe chest pain and hit an electric transformer at SVN Colony in Guntur on Monday.
The private engineering college bus was carrying students when the mishap occurred. Local residents immediately evacuated the students from the bus and shifted the driver to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was reported to be critical.
No student was injured in the incident.
