Collector Reviews Arrangements For Chief Minister's Proposed Nellore Visit

NELLORE: District collector Himanshu Shukla on Monday reviewed arrangements for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's proposed visit to Punnaparavaripalem in Chillakur mandal on July 1 and directed officials to ensure foolproof preparations.
The collector, accompanied by Gudur MLA Pasam Sunil Kumar, superintendent of police Dr Ajitha Vejendla and joint collector Mogili Venkateswarlu, inspected the venue and reviewed the arrangements.
Shukla said responsibilities had been assigned to various departments and instructed officials to work in coordination to ensure the programme is conducted smoothly. He directed authorities to make all protocol arrangements, ensure adequate security, establish health camps and help desks, provide uninterrupted drinking water and sanitation facilities, and complete helipad and barricading works on schedule.
Earlier, the collector, along with the Gudur MLA, flagged off a new APSRTC bus service connecting Punnaparavaripalem, Oduru and Rettapalli villages to improve public transport in the Gudur constituency.
Revenue, police and other departmental officials were present during the inspection and the inauguration of the bus service.
