Collector Promises Time-Bound Resolution Of Problems
The collector said several people had approached the administration with land-related complaints, prompting the decision to take the grievance-redressal process directly to villages.
Nellore: SPSR Nellore district administration intends to resolve land-related grievances within a year through a time-bound initiative titled the One Month–One Village, Four Visits programme.
Acknowledging that longstanding land disputes could not be resolved in a single sitting, district collector Himanshu Shukla said officials would visit each village four times to examine grievances and work towards lasting solutions by involving all stakeholders.
The collector said several people had approached the administration with land-related complaints, prompting the decision to take the grievance-redressal process directly to villages. Besides addressing existing disputes, the initiative would help identify and reach out to people who were unable to approach the authorities on their own, he said.
