CM Slams YSRC For Insulting Women, Criminal Activities

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has cautioned people to be vigilant of individuals with criminal backgrounds operating within the society under the guise of politics.

Nellore: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has cautioned people to be vigilant of individuals with criminal backgrounds operating within the society under the guise of politics.

Indirectly referring to YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party leaders while addressing farmers at Veerayapalem in Darsi mandal of Prakasam district on Saturday, the CM said, “In my 47 years of political life, including 15 years as Chief Minister, I have never seen politics like what we’re witnessing today. A party in our state has stooped so low that it portrayed the women of Amaravati as prostitutes. When women asked the party chief for an apology during his visit to Podili in Prakasam district, they got intimidated.”
Highlighting another incident, Chandrababu said, “A YSRCP leader Nallapareddy Prasannakumar Reddy used abusive language against TDP MLA Prasanthi Reddy, referring to her like cattle. Instead of condemning such behaviour, the party chief said, ‘Leave it to our people; they’ll barge into homes and teach a lesson.’ Is this leadership,” the CM asked.
He referred to the murder of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, saying attempts had been made to mislead the public. “In Palnadu, a YSRCP worker who fell under a car was lifted and thrown into bushes,” he pointed out.
The Chief Minister said in Nellore, the opposition party had faked the crowd using edited videos. He underlined that political parties must work for the people. While power may be their goal, ethics, discipline, and rules must never be compromised.
“Should people start learning foul language, violence and threats from Jagan,” Chandrababu observed, saying he is working to protect the lives and properties of the poor.
He urged people to compare and reflect: “Look at the progress I’ve brought in Telangana. I will take Andhra Pradesh even further. By 2047, I promise to make it the No.1 state in the country.”
