CM Presents I-Day Awards to 25 Cops
The President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service were conferred on Mahesh Chandra Ladda, additional DGP; M Ravi Prakash, IGP; and DD Gangaraju, DSP, SPF, Rajahmundry.

Vijayawada: As part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium here, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu presented awards and commendations to 25 police personnel for their “distinguished and meritorious services.”
The President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service were conferred on Mahesh Chandra Ladda, additional DGP; M Ravi Prakash, IGP; and DD Gangaraju, DSP, SPF, Rajahmundry.
The Police Medal for Meritorious Service recipients were Venkat Pramjit Katanani, retired commandant; Chennayya Avula, RSI, 11th Battalion, APSP; R Ramana Reddy, ASI, AR Tirupati (retired); Venkateswarlu Addanki, inspector of police, PTC Ongole (retired); B Prakash Rao, ASI, CCS, Kadapa; Kari Mastan Rao, SI, SPF; Venkata Satya Ananta Durga Prasad Rao Pullabhotula, assistant commandant, SPF; Srihari Rao Akkishetti, inspector of Police, RV & EO, Nellore; and Eeda Koti Reddy, deputy SP.
The Asadharan Aasuchana Kushalata Padak–2023 recipients were Vineet Brij Lal, IGP, CRPF; Ujji Srinivasa Rao, DSP; Dhanunjaya Naidu T, RI, Eagle; and Dasari Giridhar, ARSI, SIB.
The Shaurya Pathakam awards presented in connection with Ugadi went to S Govinda Rao, Y Ramesh, T Rajesh, K Mahesh, N Chandrasekhar, M Mohan Kumar, A Venkatesh, N Tulaseeraj and Sheikh Khaja.
