CM Naidu To Meet Six Union Ministers in Delhi Today

AP CM to hold high-level talks on infrastructure, finance and key development works

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is leaving New Delhi for a series of high-level meetings with Union ministers on Friday so as to seek central support for key projects and programmes being implemented in Andhra Pradesh.

The AP CM schedule will be tight throughout Friday, as he will confabulate with all the union ministers separately, before returning to Vijayawada the same night.

The discussions with central ministers will focus on projects being taken up in AP with the centre’s participation, besides reviewing the progress of major programmes currently under implementation in Andhra Pradesh.

The subjects on the agenda of Chief Minister include infrastructure development, national highways, water resources, petroleum and natural gas, ports and inland waterways, apart from financial support that the centre is extending for priority initiatives of the state government.

Naidu is scheduled to meet union ministers Amit Shah (Home), Nirmala Sitharaman (Finance), Nitin Gadkari (Road Transport and Highways), C.R. Patil (Jal Shakti), Hardeep Singh Puri (Petroleum and Natural Gas), and Sarbananda Sonowal (Ports, Shipping and Waterways).

These meetings are aimed at strengthening centre-state coordination, expediting approvals and funding strategically important projects.

The AP CM’s visit to New Delhi underscores the state government’s renewed push to accelerate development works by leveraging central assistance, particularly in sectors crucial to economic growth and public welfare.

During the meetings, Naidu will brief the Union ministers on Andhra Pradesh’s development roadmap and seek timely support to ensure faster execution of projects.

After completing his engagements in Delhi, the Chief Minister is expected to return to Amaravati on Friday night. He is scheduled to attend the Swarna Andhra – Swachh Andhra programme in Anakapalli district on Saturday, focusing on prosperity and cleanliness across the state.
