CM Naidu to address Deeptech/Govtech innovation conclave

Visakhapatnam:The DeepTech/GovTech Innovation Conclave 2024 kicked off here on Thursday, but the official inauguration is scheduled for Friday in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

The event is organised by the Global Forum for Sustainable Transformation (GFST) in collaboration with the state government. The two-day event aims to establish Andhra Pradesh as a global hub for deep-tech innovation.

This initiative is part of AP’s broader vision to emerge as a leader in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), quantum computing and biotechnology. The event aligns with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, which emphasizes sustainable growth, inclusivity and technological excellence.

The conclave aims to establish a five-year roadmap that integrates advanced tools and frameworks to enhance governance and public service delivery.

A highlight will be the Real-Time Governance System (RTGS), which utilizes AI and real-time data to improve transparency and accountability in public services. The agenda includes focused roundtable discussions led by the chief minister.

The event will feature prominent speakers from various sectors, including industry leaders, researchers and policymakers who will engage in knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

The conclave's core goals encompass several transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing the state's technological landscape. One of the primary objectives is the Healthcare AI Digital Stack, which seeks to improve healthcare access and quality while specifically addressing non-communicable diseases.

Another focus is on MSME empowerment, leveraging AI and IoT technologies to enhance market access for over 3.3 million MSMEs in Andhra Pradesh, thereby fostering economic growth and innovation within this sector.
