Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu launched the indigenous Lumpy Skin Disease vaccine BIOLUMPIVAXIN®, developed by Biovet, here on Wednesday.

Vijayawada:Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu launched the indigenous Lumpy Skin Disease vaccine BIOLUMPIVAXIN®, developed by Biovet, here on Wednesday.
Biovet is a subsidiary of Bharat Biotech. The new vaccine provides relief to farmers and livestock owners across the region. The launch was done at the Livestock Prosperity Conclave here.
Naidu applauded Biovet for the development and commercialisation of this livestock vaccine. He remarked, “It is heartening to note the availability of world-class Made-in-India vaccine. This can not only contribute to the state’s targeted 20 per cent livestock growth trajectory but also promote the long-term sustainability of the dairy industry.”
