CM Naidu Interacts With Villagers, Orders Removal of 4,977 Acres of Land From Section 22-A in Eluru District

Vijayawada:Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has interacted with people from several villages and resolved their land and revenue issues during his visit to the tahsildar’s office at Kalidindi village in Eluru district on Monday.

They explained the kind of troubles they were facing as their lands remained unavailable for use for any purpose. The CM had a patient hearing to their woes and directed collector Vetri Selvi to remove such lands from the list of Section 22-A. He also instructed her to empower the revenue divisional officers to simplify the procedure to denotify such lands.
He directed the officials to take up the categorisation of assigned lands as patta lands.
With directions from the CM on removing the lands under section 22-A, the ex-service men and their families thanked the CM for the relief as 2,745 acres of land has been freed from the list of prohibited lands for taking up any transactions as they were under the control of the state government.
Later, the beneficiaries explained to the CM that they were facing the problem of land issue for several years and despite their efforts to take them up to the notice of the officials, they got no relief. They appreciated the government’s programme of ‘Mee Bhoomi-Mee Hakku’ and hoped that it would help their land issues to be resolved.
Naidu also interacted with the villagers from the villages like Bhaskararaopeta, Vyvaka, Guravaiahipalem, Vunikili, Kalidindi and others and gave a patient hearing to their woes and directed the authorities to resolve them.
Accordingly, the officials denotified 2,745 acres from 830 villages including Vunikili, Kalidindi and Vyvaka. With this, the state government has removed 4,977 acres of land under section 22-A of registration act in the district. Later, the CM handed over the copies of 1B Adangal.
The people were visibly happy at the way the CM heard their problems and issued directions to resolve them immediately.
