CM Naidu Forecasts Visakhapatnam Will Be A Game Changer For AP

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu forecast that Visakhapatnam, recognised as the city with the highest per capita income in Andhra Pradesh, will play a crucial role in the state achieving Vision Swarnandhra 2047.

Visakhapatnam:Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu forecast that Visakhapatnam, recognised as the city with the highest per capita income in Andhra Pradesh, will play a crucial role in the state achieving Vision Swarnandhra 2047.

Inaugurating the Centenary Building of the Andhra Medical College, the CM elaborated on the ambitious development plans he has for Vizag city. He pointed out that the city has already transformed into a financial capital and a centre of knowledge.

During his address, the Chief Minister highlighted key infrastructure projects, including the near completion of Bhogapuram Airport and the imminent launch of the Metro Rail project which, he assured, will be completed on schedule.

He projected significant changes within Visakhapatnam over the next two to three years, driven by technological advancements and strategic collaborations with global giants like Google and Tata.

Chandrababu Naidu announced plans to raise King George Hospital (KGH) to the standards of AIIMS and establish a Level-2 Cancer Centre with an investment of ₹60 crore. The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) will be started in Anakapalli, he pointed out.

"Visakhapatnam is a significant city. It has a bright future ahead," he declared, saying everyone will aspire to live in this city, renowned for its tranquillity.

The CM reaffirmed his commitment to the state's progress through the P-4 policy and the Swarnandhra 2047 platform, inspired by the visionary leadership of figures like Ambedkar, Abdul Kalam and NTR.

Chandrababu Naidu inspected the newly constructed Centenary Building complex. He commended the collective efforts of donors and alumni in creating a state-of-the-art facility for Andhra Medical College, one of India's oldest institutions.
