Centre releases Rs 97 crore under Swadeshi Darshan 2.0 for tourism hub

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with his son and minister for education and IT N. Lokesh, inspected the Suryalanka Beach in Bapatla district through an aerial view while on their way to Naravaripalli in a chopper on Monday.
Based on the proposals from AP, the Central government has released Rs 97 crore for developing the beach as a tourism hub under Swadeshi Darshan 2.0. Accordingly, amenities like shopping street, parking, an administration building and tourist information buildings were taken up. There is a proposal to set up the Suryalanka Experience Zone also.
