Naidu to Campaign for BJP in Delhi Polls

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam chief and Chief Minister N, Chandrababu Naidu will campaign in New Delhi on behalf of the BJP candidates for the Assembly elections. Naidu is likely to be in New Delhi on February 1 on the invitation of the BJP. His campaign will mainly be in areas where Telugu people reside. About 10 lakh people from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana reside in Delhi.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is also likely to join the campaign and his schedule will be finalised shortly.
The TD is a key partner in the NDA. There are a large number of voters from different states in Delhi. It may be recalled that earlier in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Naidu and Pawan Kalyan campaigned separately.
The Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 5. Results will be announced on February 8. The BJP top leadership is bringing allies into the Delhi election campaign to support the party candidates.
