CM Chandrababu Naidu Meets Industrialists To Promote P4

Naidu stated, “Every time I think of the P4 initiative, it ignites a new enthusiasm within me. The only way to achieve success in any venture is through public participation. I have a long political career.

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has told industrialists that “true satisfaction comes from serving others, and not from earning more wealth.”

Addressing a group of entrepreneurs at a P4 initiative held in a private hotel here on Thursday night, Naidu noted that he had previously urged them to invest. Now, he would also request them to help uplift the poor. “Take a lead role in the government’s P-4 initiative,” he told them.

Naidu stated, “Every time I think of the P4 initiative, it ignites a new enthusiasm within me. The only way to achieve success in any venture is through public participation. I have a long political career. In the united state of Andhra Pradesh and during the bifurcation, we worked actively in national political spheres and brought about several reforms.” “However, the satisfaction that eluded me for so long is now fulfilled through the P4 programme,” he said.

Naidu spoke of his personal commitment, saying, “I have adopted 250 families myself to set an example. We have seen 1,081,281 families being adopted by Margadarsia (mentors) so far. Despite several welfare programmes, poverty still exists.”

He said, “P4 was born from the thought that, regardless of how much one earns, it is important to give back to society. We need to provide guidance and support to those in poverty, enabling them to uplift themselves.”

Naidu elaborated on government welfare schemes aimed at enhancing the lives of the less fortunate. “While the government is doing its part, it is crucial for those in higher positions to contribute as well.”

He noted, “A sanitation worker from Avanigadda has stepped forward to mentor a needy elderly woman. I am not compelling anyone; rather, I am advocating shared responsibility. Some teachers have recently pledged to aid the poor through education, leading us to introduce the co-sponsorship model in P4. Those who can provide financial aid will do so, while others can contribute knowledge.”

The industrialists and representatives from NGOs who attended the event pledged their support for the P4 initiative. Several NRIs participated in an online meeting and assured the CM of their roles as mentors.

Mohan Reddy, an industrialist from Prakasam district, announced his commitment to adopting 729 families. Individuals like Radha Krishna and Muhammad Arif pledged to adopt ten families each, while some others outlined plans to adopt up to 160 schools and 110 families.
