Chandrababu Naidu Announces Several Sops To Resolve Pending Issues Of Govt Employees

The decisions announced by the Chief Minister will entail an additional annual expenditure of Rs. 2,880 crore to the government exchequer

Amaravati: Stating that employees are an integral part of the government and government will always extend support to them, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today announced several key decisions to resolve the pending issues of government employees.

The Chief Minister held discussions with leaders of employees’ associations today and announced a series of decisions. The employees’ union leaders expressed satisfaction over the announcements.

Several Key decisions announced by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu:

Agreement to constitute the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC).

Payment of two pending Dearness Allowances (DAs) from October 1, 2026.

Release of DAs due from July 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.

Agreement to credit the surrender leave amount pertaining to 2022 into employees’ accounts by the coming Sankranti.

Payment of one additional surrender leave to police personnel during the upcoming Dasara festival.

Additional Quantum of Pension to be implemented from January 2027.

Pensioners above 70 years of age will receive an additional 10 per cent Quantum of pension, while those above 75 years will receive an additional 15 per cent.

Employees Health Scheme (EHS) will be streamlined. From next month onwards, the government will make monthly payments to the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust .

The decisions announced by the Chief Minister will entail an additional annual expenditure of Rs. 2,880 crore to the government exchequer. The Chief Minister reiterated that the government would continue to work towards the welfare and well-being of its employees while taking practical steps to resolve their issues.
