City Court Permits Private Case in Custodial Death of Sai Krishna

Vijayawada:A city court on Monday permitted the filing of a private case concerning the alleged custodial death of Gade Sai Krishna and the alleged disappearance of his body and destruction of evidence at Krishna Lanka police station.

YSRC MP Maddila Gurumoorthy filed a petition before the court, naming DGP Harish Kumar Gupta as A-1, city police commissioner Rajasekhar Babu as A-2 and South ACP Manasa as A-3.

The court directed that the MP’s statement be recorded on August 17.
