Chintakayala Vijay Appointed to Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industry

Visakhapatnam: Rajya Sabha member Chintakayala Vijay has been appointed as a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industry.
The appointment was notified by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat through an official order. According to the Secretariat, the appointment was made by the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha under Rule 269(1) of the Rajya Sabha Rules of Procedure and took effect from July 23, 2026.
As a member of the committee, Vijay will participate in the examination of industrial policies, review issues relating to the country's industrial sector and contribute to deliberations on matters concerning industrial development.
The Rajya Sabha Secretariat also communicated the committee’s composition and other relevant details to the MP through an official communication issued by Director Niang Khaanngam Guite.
