He accused YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy of orchestrating disturbances in Andhra Pradesh from Bengaluru through rowdy gangs.
He cautioned that the government will not remain silent if law and order is undermined and declared that stringent laws, similar to those in the Railways, would be introduced to punish those who damage government property.
He directed the DGP to frame provisions for recovering compensation from those responsible for such destruction.
The Chief Minister condemned attacks on Telugu Desam offices, alleging that the same group was behind multiple incidents.
He criticised political leaders moving around with large groups of rowdy-sheeters and criminals, calling it a threat to public peace.
He advised ministers to counter any false propaganda against the government on social media and explain the truth about welfare schemes and development programmes to the people.
