IAS and IPS officers are being harassed by the government: Perni Nani
VIJAYAWADA: The YSRC has reiterated that law and order has been deteriorating in the state and Chandrababu has been manipulating all institutions, with police being mute spectators and Pawan Kalyan maintaining stoic silence. Former minister Perni Venkataramaiah, alias Nani, speaking to the media here on Saturday, said Chandrababu has been encouraging attacks on YSRC activists, and Nagamalleswara Rao was attacked as he stood firm with the party.
Perni Nani alleged that the attack on him was carried out on the instructions of Ponnuru MLA Dhulipalla Narendra, as the Nagamalleswara Rao family has been in control of the gram Panchayat for a long time. He pointed out that whenever Chandrababu is in trouble, Pawan Kalyan and a sister will make an appearance, parrot the given lines, and disappear.
Perni Nani asked who Pawan is to stop Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy from coming to power, as it is the people who have to decide. Pawan has been silent on the Panchayats not getting funds, he said, adding that IAS and IPS officers are being harassed by the government.
