Centre To Roll Out Landmark ADEETIE Scheme For Energy Efficiency In MSMEs

Vijayawada:In a significant push towards industrial competitiveness, job creation, and climate goals, the Union ministry of power, through the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), is launching a first-of-its-kind scheme called ADEETIE (Assistance in Deploying Energy Efficient Technologies in Industries & Establishments). This initiative targets the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector to accelerate adoption of energy-efficient technologies.

Media Advisor (Southern States & UTs) of BEE, A. Chandrasekhar Reddy, announced that the National Roll-Out Ceremony will be held on July 15, 2025, in Panipat, Haryana, with Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal as the Chief Guest. Senior dignitaries from the Ministry of Power and the Haryana government will also attend.

Chandrasekhar Reddy added that senior officials from the Ministry of Power, State Designated Agencies (SDAs) including APSECM, industry leaders, and financial institutions will also participate.

He noted that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has successfully implemented decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects in MSME clusters, notably in gold ornaments (Vijayawada), jewellery (Machilipatnam), food processing (Chittoor), and pharmaceuticals (Achutapuram).
