Kurnool: Chief Election Commissioner of India Gyanesh Kumar will visit Hyderabad and Srisailam on Friday and Saturday. He will arrive in Hyderabad at 12 noon on Friday, December 19, and proceed to Srisailam by evening, reaching Bhramaramba Guest House at 6.30 p.m.
On Saturday, he will participate in Maha Harati and offer prayers to Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and Goddess Bhramaramba Devi at the Srisailam Temple. Officials clarified that his visit to Srisailam is purely devotional, with no official programmes scheduled in Andhra Pradesh.
During his stay in Hyderabad, Gyanesh Kumar will visit Golconda Fort, Hussain Sagar, Charminar and Salar Jung Museum and interact with Booth Level Officers of Telangana at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium. Arrangements are being made by Election Commission authorities in coordination with state and district officials, according to a release.
