CCTV Cameras Installed In All Welfare Hostels: Minister

During surprise inspections of social welfare girls' hostels in Kavali, the minister said the coalition government was giving priority to students' safety, health and living conditions. He said hostel inmates would receive beds, night dresses and sweaters from the current academic year, a first-of-its-kind initiative.

The minister also said sanitation workers had been deployed through outsourcing agencies to improve hygiene in hostels. Interacting with students, he assured them that the government would provide quality facilities and a conducive environment to support their education and overall development.
