Capital Farmers Get Annuity Payment Tracking

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has made annual annuity payment details available on its official website in a move aimed at enhancing transparency and convenience for farmers who pooled their lands for the construction of Amaravati.

The initiative enables farmers who participated in the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) to check the status of their annuity payments online without visiting government offices. APCRDA said the information has been uploaded to its official portal to provide a clear picture of annuity disbursements and address farmers’ concerns regarding pending payments.

The online database contains details of farmers whose annuity amounts have already been credited, as well as information on beneficiaries whose payments are still pending. The portal also specifies the reasons for non-credit of annuity amounts in individual cases.

According to APCRDA, one of the major reasons for delayed payments is the presence of inactive bank accounts or issues related to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) linkage. Since annuity payments are transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts, any discrepancy in Aadhaar-NPCI mapping or inactive accounts can prevent successful credit of funds.

To help affected farmers, APCRDA has also published a list of beneficiaries whose bank accounts are inactive in the NPCI system. Such farmers have been advised to approach their respective banks immediately and complete the necessary formalities to reactivate their accounts and ensure proper Aadhaar linkage.

To make access easier, APCRDA has released a QR code that directs users to the annuity status webpage. By scanning the code, farmers can instantly verify their payment details, check account-related issues and find out the reasons for non-receipt of annuity benefits from the comfort of their homes.
