Call to Success for 'School Festival' Across the State

Vijayawada: Former minister and Telugu Desam leader Peethala Sujata called for the successful execution of the upcoming 'School Festival' (Pathasala Panduga) on December 7. At a press conference in Mangalagiri, Sujata highlighted the importance of community involvement. Organised by the Department of Education under Minister Nara Lokesh, the event aims to unite parents, teachers, students, alumni, and donors.

Sujata stressed the festival's potential to foster stronger relationships between parents and teachers and alleviate student anxieties. She also noted recent educational reforms, including the upcoming DSC for 16,347 teaching jobs.

Criticising the decline in educational standards under the previous government, Sujata urged everyone to support the event, which she said would improve educational standards across the state.


Youth fitness key to Nation’s future: Ram Nath Kovind

VIJAYAWADA: Former president Ram Nath Kovind emphasised the need for physical fitness among youth at the 14th convocation of KL Deemed University in Vaddeswaram. Kovind encouraged students to focus on holistic education, which fosters humility and eligibility for success. Speaking as the chief guest, he also stressed that skills, alongside degrees, are crucial for today's youth. He shared his own experience of walking six kilometres daily for education.
KL University President Koneru Satyanarayana highlighted the university’s commitment to social awareness, while Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Parthasarathy Varma noted that 4,706 students had graduated, including 166 Ph.D. recipients.
