Hyderabad: Burglars struck at the houses of a head constable and retired reserve sub-inspector at Srinivasa Nagar in Kurnool.
At the house of head constable Mahesh, the culprits broke open the locks after noticing that the premise was vacant. They looted nearly 23 tolas of gold ornaments and six tolas of silver ornaments before fleeing.
In another incident in the same locality, burglars entered the residence of retired Reserve Sub-Inspector Subbiah. They decamped with five each tolas of gold and silver ornaments and Rs.30,000 in cash,police said.
