Bridges, Yerrakalva, Havelock Proposals to be Tabled to CM
Durgesh said efforts were under way to prepare a vision plan for the constituency in line with Swarnandhra Vision 2047
KAKINADA: Proposals including key bridge projects, a permanent solution to the Yerra Kalva inundation issue and road development works in East Godavari district will be placed before Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at an upcoming district development review.
Minister for tourism promotion and cinematography Kandula Durgesh said the proposals cover construction of the Kamsalipalem–Madhavaram bridge, development of the Nidadavole–Yernagudem main road, Havelock bridge development, and the Chinakasirevu bridge project. He reviewed progress in the Nidadavole constituency with the Constituency Vision Action Plan Unit at the MPDO office in Samisragudem on Monday.
Durgesh said efforts were under way to prepare a vision plan for the constituency in line with Swarnandhra Vision 2047. Officials were asked to redress public grievances within a fixed timeframe and strengthen public confidence in the government.
He said sustainable development could be achieved through public–private partnership and directed departments to monitor key performance indicators and meet targets with transparency, accountability and coordination. He appreciated the role of the CVAPU in development efforts.
MPDO Jagannadha Rao, Nidadavole tahsildar Nagaraju Naick and others were present.
