Minister says party workers are key strength of BJP’s organisational growth

Vijayawada: Union minister of state for steel and heavy industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma on Sunday said the BJP’s nationwide training programmes were aimed at transforming every party worker, from the booth level to the national level, into an efficient leader.

Addressing the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan’ training programme at Punadipadu village in Kankipadu mandal of Krishna district, the minister said BJP workers were the party’s real strength.

He described the BJP as not merely a political organisation but a “great family” built on nationalism and strong ideological foundations.

Participating as the chief speaker at the district-level training camp, Srinivasa Varma spoke on the party’s history, ideological commitment and the principle of “Antyodaya” advocated by Deendayal Upadhyaya.

The minister said dedicated party workers striving for national development while remaining committed to party ideology strengthened the BJP organisationally.

He also guided party cadre on taking government welfare schemes to the people and playing an active role in social development.

Earlier, Srinivasa Varma visited a photo exhibition showcasing the history of senior BJP leaders and welfare programmes being implemented by the Centre.

District-level BJP leaders, Assembly constituency in-charges, mandal presidents and Shakti Kendra coordinators participated in the programme.
