BJP Seeks Removal of Encroachments in Balaji Nagar

He alleged that the Balaji Nagar 11th Cross Road junction witnesses daily traffic congestion due to the movement of school vans, college buses and other vehicles.

Nellore: BJP OBC Morcha state vice-president Mukku Radhakrishna Goud on Monday urged the Nellore Municipal Corporation to remove alleged encroachments in Balaji Nagar to ease traffic congestion.

Submitting a representation to municipal commissioner V.O. Nandan, Radhakrishna Goud alleged that roads in the locality, particularly the stretch from the Phule statue on Mini Bypass Road to NTR Nagar, had been encroached upon, causing inconvenience to motorists and residents.

He alleged that the Balaji Nagar 11th Cross Road junction witnesses daily traffic congestion due to the movement of school vans, college buses and other vehicles.

Radhakrishna Goud also alleged that a roadside tiffin centre opposite a Vinayaka temple was operating on the road, with customers parking their vehicles on the carriageway, leading to frequent traffic jams.

He urged the Mayor and the municipal commissioner to remove the alleged encroachments and ensure smooth traffic flow. He warned that the BJP would launch an agitation along with local residents if the authorities failed to take prompt action.
