BJP Leaders Pay Rich Tributes to Former PM Vajpayee on Death Anniversary
Party leaders recall Vajpayee’s clean leadership, Antyodaya scheme, and Pokhran test

Vijayawada: AP BJP leaders led by general secretary Madhukar paid rich tributes to the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to mark his death anniversary at the party office here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP leader Uppalpati Srinivas lauded the services of Vajpayee by saying that he served as the founder member of Bharatiya Jan Sangh and also Bharatiya Janata Party and credited him for serving the nation as a prime minister with no corruption and by upholding moral values. He praised Vajpayee for introducing the Antyodaya scheme to provide 30 kg of rice free of cost to the poor and also for taking up a nuclear test at Pokhran. He said that the former PM was awarded the ‘Bharat Ratna’ for his invaluable services rendered to the nation.
