Hyderabad: Microsoft founder Bill Gates is likely to visit Amaravati on February 18 and meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to discuss various issues related to the State.
The State government had earlier signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in March last year to use Al-based technology to achieve better results in healthcare, agriculture and education.
The MoU was signed to provide services to the people faster through the use of technology in healthcare analytics, digital agriculture and governance. There is a possibility of a discussion between Naidu and Bill Gates on the implementation of this project.
In addition, there is a rumor that Microsoft has proposed to invest in Amaravati's Quantum Valley and more clarity would emerge during the same meeting with Naidu.
