Bhogapuram Airport to Boost AP Growth: Madhav

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh BJP president P.V.N. Madhav said the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district would mark a historic milestone in the state's development.

In a statement issued on Friday, the senior BJP leader welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh ahead of his visit to inaugurate the international airport on Saturday. He said the airport would provide a major fillip to investment, industrialisation, tourism, the IT sector and exports, creating employment opportunities for lakhs of youth. He also asserted that the Bhogapuram airport would strengthen Andhra Pradesh's international connectivity.
