Bhimavaram municipality has secured a silver award from the Andhra Pradesh State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM) for conserving electricity
The APSECM had conducted a survey of 123 municipalities in the state with regard to supply of electricity through the HT and LT lines from 2023 to 2025.

The APSECM had conducted a survey of 123 municipalities in the state with regard to supply of electricity through the HT and LT lines from 2023 to 2025.
Municipal commissioner K. Ramachandra Reddy said the award is in recognition of various energy conservation measures taken up by the Bhimavaram municipality.
