Beeda Appointed To RS Petitions Committee
Rajya Sabha MP Beeda Mastan Rao has been appointed as a member of the Rajya Sabha Petitions Committee following orders issued by Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan as part of the committee’s reconstitution with effect from May 20, 2026.

Nellore: Rajya Sabha MP Beeda Mastan Rao has been appointed as a member of the Rajya Sabha Petitions Committee following orders issued by Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan as part of the committee’s reconstitution with effect from May 20, 2026.
According to the Parliamentary Bulletin, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has been appointed chairman of the committee, which examines public petitions, grievances and governance-related issues and makes recommendations to the concerned departments.
Expressing gratitude over his appointment, Beeda Mastan Rao thanked the Vice-President and Rajya Sabha Chairman for reposing confidence in him. He also thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and minister Nara Lokesh for their guidance and encouragement.
The MP said he would strive to raise people’s issues in Parliament and work towards solutions, particularly focusing on Andhra Pradesh’s development, public welfare and concerns of backward communities.
