BCs to Hold Gratitude Rallies to Thank CM Naidu: Ravindra

On August 11, rallies featuring textiles and clothes measuring 100 feet in length will be organised in collaboration with weavers and handloom workers.

Vijayawada: Minister for excise, mines, and geology, Kollu Ravindra, announced that the BC communities have decided to conduct rallies and other events for four days across Andhra Pradesh to express their gratitude to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for implementing welfare and development activities for the BC community. The minister explained that on Sunday, gratitude meetings will be organised, primarily involving participants from the Kallu Geetha (toddy tappers) community, who will perform Palabhikshekam (offering of food) to portraits of CM Naidu.

On August 11, rallies featuring textiles and clothes measuring 100 feet in length will be organised in collaboration with weavers and handloom workers. As part of the four-day events, the shops of Nayee Brahmins will be decorated to show appreciation for Chandrababu Naidu. Additionally, families of beneficiaries will be invited to these events to inform them about the government’s initiatives for BCs, he said.

Kollu Ravindra asserted that under the current coalition government, BCs are now thriving, as shown by their active participation in various initiatives. The minister urged all MLAs and elected representatives throughout the state to engage in gratitude programmes, ensuring that every BC family is informed about the initiatives the coalition government has undertaken for their benefit.
