Bar Council of India Bans Admissions at Two Andhra Pradesh Law Colleges

Vijayawada: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has prohibited two law colleges in Andhra Pradesh (AP) from admitting students for law degree programs. This prohibition applies to the academic year 2024-25 and all subsequent years until further notice.

The BCI, the governing body for legal education in India, issued a public notice listing eight institutions nationwide that are barred from admitting students in law programs.
Two of these institutions are located in Andhra Pradesh:
Sri Eshwar Reddy College of Law, Tirupati
Sri Shirdi Sai Vidya Parishad (Sri Shirdi Sai Law College), Anakapalli
