Balakrishna Seeks Ring Road, ESI Hospital For Hindupur
In discussions with Nitin Gadkari, the MLA raised the need for a ring road around Hindupur and requested for national highway projects in and around the region
VIJAYAWADA: Actor-politician and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna of Telugu Desam called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and several Union ministers during his visit to New Delhi on Thursday. He briefed the LS Speaker about the services being rendered through Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad, which is run on a not-for-profit basis.
Later, the MLA met Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Hardeep Singh Puri, Manohar Lal Khattar, Mansukh Mandaviya and other senior ministers in the national capital and sought their support through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds for the expansion of the cancer hospital.
He requested Mansukh Mandaviya to take steps for the establishment of an ESI Hospital in Hindupur to strengthen medical access for the region’s workers.
