Australia Invites Lokesh to Explain Education Reforms

High commissioner praises Andhra’s progress in education, tech, and economy

Vijayawada: Education minister Nara Lokesh has been invited by the Australian government for a visit there to explain his role in shaping the pioneering AP Model of Education.

Australia’s High Commissioner Philip Green sent the invitation letter to Lokesh. It lauded Andhra Pradesh’s leadership in the fields of human resources, technology and economic development, and expressed an interest in Lokesh’s participation in the Australian government’s Special Visits Programme.

Under the programme over the past two decades, the Australian government has hosted several Indian political leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself took part in this programme in 2021.

During the visit, Lokesh would meet political leaders, education experts and members of the Indian diaspora there, an official release said.
