ATM Heist in Bukkarayasamudram, Machine Found Dumped Nearby
Police have formed special teams to trace and apprehend the accused. Investigation is underway.

Ananthapur: An ATM theft was reported in Bukkarayasamudram of Anantapur district in the early hours of Wednesday. Unidentified miscreants broke into a State Bank of India (SBI) ATM kiosk located on the Tadipatri main road and stole the machine along with its batteries after smashing the glass panels.
Despite the area being busy and a police station located about 100 metres away, the theft went unnoticed, causing concern among locals.
Within a few hours, parts of the stolen ATM equipment were found abandoned on the outskirts of Akuledu village in Singanamala mandal. Police suspect the culprits dumped the materials after committing the theft.
DSP Srinivasulu, CI Subbarayudu and SI Ramprasad visited the spot and inspected the scene. A dog squad was deployed, and CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined.
