APSRTC Wins National Award For Technology Excellence
APSRTC would continue leveraging technology for better passenger satisfaction and sustained growth
VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has won the PSE Technology & Innovation Award – 2026 for excellence in technological advancement and digital service efficiency.
The national recognition was given for APSRTC’s efforts in adopting advanced technologies, particularly in its Unified Communications Division, and improving passenger services.
The award was presented at the India PSE Summit – 2026 held in Hyderabad on April 24 and 25. The summit brought together public sector enterprises from across the country and recognised excellence in innovation, digital transformation and operational efficiency.
APSRTC chief engineer (IT) Y. Srinivasa Rao received the award on behalf of vice-chairman and managing director N. Bala Subramanyam. It was presented by P. Srikanth, Editor of Express Computer.
Bala Subramanyam congratulated officers, supervisors and staff for their collective efforts in bringing laurels to the corporation. He said APSRTC had consistently earned recognition at national forums and expressed confidence that the workforce would continue to uphold high standards in line with the Chief Minister’s vision.
He added that APSRTC would continue leveraging technology for better passenger satisfaction and sustained growth.
