APSRTC to Operate 5,261 Special Bus Services for Dasara From Oct 16
The RTC has allocated 5,261 special buses destination-wise, including 1,186 for Hyderabad, 1,053 for Vijayawada, 1,360 for other destinations, 475 for Bengaluru and 440 for Visakhapatnam.
Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will operate 5,261 special bus services for Dasara festivities across the state and to major cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai from October 16.
The APSRTC will operate special services during the pre-Dasara period from October 16 to 19 and the post-Dasara period from October 20 to 25 to facilitate travel to native places and important pilgrimage centres and return journeys.
The RTC has allocated 5,261 special buses destination-wise, including 1,186 for Hyderabad, 1,053 for Vijayawada, 1,360 for other destinations, 475 for Bengaluru and 440 for Visakhapatnam.
RTC authorities said necessary arrangements were being made to keep special buses available based on passenger demand during the festival period.
