APSRTC Bus Overturns In Annamayya, 20 Injured
Around 20 passengers on board sustained injuries in the accident. They were initially shifted to the Valmikipuram government hospital for treatment. Some of the injured were later shifted to the Madanapalle government hospital for better treatment.
Tirupati: An APSRTC bus overturned after one of its tyres punctured near Vittalam village in Valmikipuram mandal on Tuesday, injuring 20 passengers.
According to reports, the non-stop Ultra Deluxe bus belonging to the Madanapalle depot was travelling from Madanapalle to Tirupati on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred on the Madanapalle-Tirupati highway near Vittalam after the bus crossed a culvert. The driver reportedly lost control of the bus following the tyre puncture, causing it to overturn.
